MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

There are various forms of governments which have been utilized by countries to rule themselves at different times in History. Such systems include Democracy, Socialism, and Monarchism. The later refers to the rule that is based upon the concept of the Kingdom. At Christ Church, we recognize the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ as the Sovereign. While it is the Kingdom that primarily functions from Spiritual Realm, the works of the Kingdom; though impactful to all people who live on the Earth, it is only those people who are inclined to the knowledge of the Spirit of God that recognize the presence of the Kingdom. At Christ Church, we teach and train you on the knowledge of God and the Ways of God so you can become a Citizen of the Kingdom of God even though you are on Earth and in the Fresh.

FREEDOM TO WORSHIP

Jesus said that " God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Jn. 4:24 (NKJV). There is no one way to worship God but it all comes to the manner in which we approach God. King David who is credited to have written the book of Psalms says " ...a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise." Ps. 51:17 (NIV). This, of course, does not mean going before God worried and desperate, but it actually refers to the state of humility and faith (or, call it full confidence in God and his hearing us when we pray) with which we go to pray. With that, we position that whether you are standing, walking, kneeling, lifting hands, laying down or doing chores, your prayers are valued and attended to by God who sees the sincerity in our hearts.

OUTREACH MINISTRY

The one golden rule introduced by Jesus is that we should "Love your [our] neighbor[s] as yourself [ourselves]." This so important requirement by Jesus is proceeded by another rule in the same lines which concerns our relationship with God, that says: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30-31 (NIV). Put together, these rules and the great commandment that requests us to go out in all the world [starting with our neighborhoods; nevertheless] inform our responsibility to reaching out to people who do not know Jesus and the Kingdom of God and first teach them; then, baptize them if they accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Even though not in itself, and not at all, a prerequisite to pray, Music is almost naturally an important facet of worshipping God. The history of worship is almost not separable with the Music. In the Bible, we learn of the Song of Moses, the Song of Miriam, the Song of David among others. In Psalms 150, King David informed us and actually calls on everyone to participate in the worshipping God , saying: "  Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

USHERING & MEDIA

As an organization whose work involves prayer meetings, we rely on men and women whose calling is to manage the work of God that is directly related to the upkeep of the House of God and the environment around it. At Christ Church, Ushers perform a range of functions including receiving and seating guests and members of the congregation, cleaning and decorating the Church or controlling traffic and parking around the church premises.

MEN'S MINISTRY

In as much as the first person created by God was man and imbued with such responsibility as fatherhood, the history; whether modern or ancient, has had a distinct place for men who as a given, lead their families while cultivating cultural values that shape generations of their offspring who come after them. We recognize the peculiar place of men in our society and in our church and have put in place arrangements by which men can contribute to the furtherance of our vision for the promotion of families. Men's Ministry meets once every month to pray and fellowship.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

As mothers and the bedrocks upon which the warmth, encouragements and nurture that families need to thrive, women appear on several occasions in the Bible fulfilling such functions as Prophetesses, Queens, or intercessors . Furthermore, women played an important role in the ministry of Jesus before Jesus was crucified, this remained true up until death, resurrection and the going to Heaven by Jesus. Women ministry meets once every month to pray and fellowship.

Children Reading the Holy Bible

CHILDREN MINISTRY

"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a

reward from him." Psalms. 127:3

We regard children as deserving to be nurtured, taught and empowered in order to equip them to grow in Godly ways and become responsible members of the society. The Church avails itself to provide basic education and means for survival for children who have no immediate families to take care of them. Our holistic approach to supporting children starts with our Sunday Schools, Daycares, summer camps and tutoring programs.
